An 11-year-old boy took his parents’ car on a “highly dangerous” joyride after playing Grand Theft Auto (GTA), police say.

It seems the video game 'Grand Theft Auto' got this kid hooked onto the fun of driving, and the game was not real enough for him, so he decided to go out into the real world and test out his new gaming driving skills on the outside roadways with his parent's minivan!

Parents can now create Nintendo Accounts for children under the age of 13.

This new feature lets kids have fun earning and redeeming My Nintendo points on their own accounts, while allowing parents the ability to manage their children’s accounts.

Big 'N' is finally moving into the era of allowing 'child accounts' similar in style to how Xbox Live and PSN been doing it for years, with the age of Pokemon and Super Mario Maker so popular on the 3DS and the upcoming Nintendo Switch, they need to do alot to upgrade their 'online system' to manage the millions of young players that will be floating around online looking for gaming buddies!

According to Eurogamer, Nintento’s Pokemon Sun and Moon are the most successful game launch in the UK.

Never had any other game achieved this success; Nintendo really hit the jackpot when releasing these games.

It is said that sales were helped by last summer’s Pokemon Go hype, where at one point over 25 million people were playing the mobile game. Even though official figures have not yet been revealed for Pokemon Sun and Moon’s UK or US launch sales, in Japan alone the two games already sold nearly 2 million copies in its first three days.

Although the games initially came in on the 3rd and 4th position, combined they sold twice as much as the two previous games in the Pokemon series, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Chart-Track mentions that the combined sales will take over FIFA 17’s top position in the UK physical charts,...

"Supply inconsistencies" and "lack of marketing" contributed to the downward projection.

Earlier this year, research group SuperData put out a report that estimated that PlayStation VR sales would reach 2.6 million units sold by the end of 2016. Now, the firm has updated that figure substantially downward.

Things are not looking good for the new era of Virtual Reality, already sales of headsets on the PC and Mobile from like Rift and Hive where at flat-line, almost dead, and everyone was hoping that Sony's PlayStation VR being only $399 and with millions of PS4 users out there, and large section of VR Games at launch, that it would make the VR industry alive again, but it does not seem like it worked, as now analysts are calling Sony's PSVR the 'biggest loser' for the holiday season 2016, with sales much much lower than anyone thought it would be, which just might cause VR in gaming...

Let the next battle between the mouse and analog stick commence!

For years now, gamers have argued that letting PC and console players face each other in first-person shooters would result in a ridiculously unbalanced playing field—that the superior precision and quickness of mouse aiming would utterly dominate the competition using slower, touchier analog sticks, all things being equal.

This weekend, Microsoft is rolling out a public crossplay test for Gears of War 4 that could help settle that argument once and for all.

There aren't too many games with a rating as high as Stardew Valley's.

So if the Nintendo Switch gets anything ported across from the PC, it might as well be the successful fan-made love letter to Harvest Moon.

For those looking to play Stardew Valley on the Wii U, too bad for you, you going to have to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch, as the developer has decided its no longer worthwhile to port his very popular game over to the Wii U since the Switch is coming out soon!

Hello Games has been given the all clear by the Advertising Standards Authority.

No Man's Sky developer Hello Games has emerged from a marketing investigation unscathed. The UK's Advertising Standards Authority has spent the last two months examining claims that the game's steam page is misleading.

A few days ago, NMS developer Hello Games finally released their Foundation Update, making players 'happy for now', and now more good news for the small studio, they been cleared at least in the UK so far from 'misleading' claims, leaving them only with some problems in Europe and Usa from on-going class-action-law-suits from upset early fans that were not happy with just a full refund.
