"Switch is mostly custom kernel. They used bits of Android"

Back when the Switch was known as the Nintendo NX there were rumours which suggested that the console would make use of Google's Android operating system, and according to former Cyanogen CEO Kirt McMaster, the Japanese giant actually went as far as to approach Cyanogen regarding its OS.
We already know from studying recent dumps of the Switch eMMC and RAM that Nintendo basically rewrote their 3DS Kernel for the Switch, but also uses alot of Android libraries and such inside their OS to manage rendering and drivers, etc. -- And it seems originally big 'N' was talking to Cyanogen to produce their OS, but the CEO turned them down and say to them to 'Stick it' :)

More simple installation, new fceumm core and that is just the tip of the iceberg for this amazing new update by Cluster!
Cluster is finally back, and here he is with yet another one of his mind-blogging updates to 'HakChi2' that turns your NES Mini into a must-have, as if it was not hard enough to find one to purchase, now it will be even harder, as more people 'mod' their NES Mini's. :)

Switch_KaKu.jpg
At the arrival of the latest version of Henkaku, many users complained that Switchkaku was no longer working.

The developer Kylon has therefore studied the subject and reworked the utility by proposing it to us in version 2.0.
As a reminder, if you have a PS Vita under firmware 3.60, you can benefit from HENkaku and taiHENkaku. The first is the stable original hack while the second is still in Beta. We all agree that the second one is still in testing, but we need it to take advantage of Adrenaline.

An interesting choice is to install HENkaku or install taiHENkaku, but this was before the arrival of SwitchKaku, a tool originally developed by "Luck" and which will allow you to easily switch between HENkaku and taiHENkaku according to your needs.

On March 17, a United States Appeals Court confirmed that the Nintendo 3DS system does not use technology covered in a patent asserted by Tomita Technologies USA, Inc. and Tomita Technologies International, Inc.

Now you can edit your source code direct on your Vita handheld itself, now if only there was direct online compiler!

A source code editor which supports several programming languages running under Henkaku for the Playstation Vita.
Of course editing 'source code' is big too much it seems to me, but having a full function Notepad editor, does help in editing config files I find to getting RetroArch cores working or other complex scripts that you might have made a small mistake and don't want to spend all the effort reuploading files after going back home to your desktop PC to edit them in the first place, now you can do it all on the go! :)

Amiibo_SN_Changer.jpg
UPDATE V2: Added batch generation for multiple new serial numbers for easier use with N2 Elite. The original version is still available for those who prefer the old method.

This python 3 script decrypts an Amiibo BIN file using Amiitool, generates a random tag serial, creates a new BIN file with the new serial, and encrypts it for use. Currently only set up for Windows but could easily be edited for use on Linux.
AnalogMan is back with another cool scene release, this one is basically is designed only for those that use Amiibo emulating devices such as N2^Elite (aka) Amiiqo, Datel PowerTag or NaMiio. This app is no way designed for those who write Amiibo figurines to blank NFC tags or those with real Amiibo characters.

RaspBerry_Pi_Millions.jpg
Basically the same in sales as the Nintendo Wii U console!

The official Raspberry Pi magazine just announced that over 12.5 million of the affordable little Linux boards have been sold since the original Pi was launched in 2012.
The Nintendo Wii U console is just around million more sold when compared to the Raspberry Pi, the little board that everyone originally thought would never become popular, really has taken off and spawned a whole range of different sizes and horsepower versions.

Switch_Stand.jpg
It will break your Piggy-Bank, but it will make hours of two player enjoyment a whole lot better!

Unlike the Nintendo Switch, Twelve South’s HiRise 2 iPhone stand is not exactly new. But, as the company’s enterprising marketing team has discovered, it is perhaps the best-looking solution for standing up your Nintendo Switch while charging it at the same time.
The Nintendo Switch has a little clip-out 'plastic' piece that sounds like it will break each time you use it, plus it blocks the charging plug, so it means you can't play&charge at the same time if you gaming on the go without your dock and TV screen, which is little weird for being a console that plays on the 'being portable' side, and with its short battery life it might not last as long as it takes to make Easter dinner! :)

BC Master does it again with another incredibly solid and slick looking car adapter. This thing has nice chunky plastic with a smooth piano finish and strong, firm contact springs. For the same price as a cheapo adapter that will break after 5 plugins and no protection circuity, you would...
