Late on Tuesday night, Nintendo shared a video detailing the hardware of its upcoming Switch console.

We already know the specs of the machine, but this is the first video Nintendo has released that takes a comprehensive look at the console and its controllers.
With less than a month to go before the Nintendo Switch hits the retail stores, and pre-orders are very brisk, still big 'N' wants to make sure everyone out there understands how 'different' their Switch is and all the 'cool' new features that are packed into the tiny box, and to make sure gamers understand fully that is both a 'console' and 'handheld' and also a 'multiplayer' system, so hence this video.

If you've been using Microsoft's gaming consoles for long enough, then you'll remember the Xbox Media Center, also known as XBMC.

Over time, XBMC was ported to other platforms, stopped being supported on Xbox, and became Kodi.
But now, thanks to the fact Xbox One console allows for Windows 10 apps under their UWP system, the developers behind Kodi are busy polishing up their popular media center to be sent off to Microsoft soon for UWP approval, which means we will see Kodi return on Xbox.

Seems you can only use ONE external device at a time, at least with the current BETA releases!

One of the awesome announcements that Sony has made earlier this year is the ability to use an external hard drive on the PS4 as a storage for applications and games in the upcoming PlayStation 4 v4.50 firmwares, that are currently being beta-tested by insiders!
Support for 'external drives' has been available on Wii U since day one, and also on Xbox One soon after it launched, but only recently has Sony started testing its usage on the new upcoming firmware release for its PS4, but unlike the other two console makers, they have for some reason decided to limit it to ONE device at a time, but its unsure if this 'limit' will be removed when the beta is over!

Look, I just want to play some Fire Emblem

The New Nintendo 3DS XL launched in North America in February 2015. The regular-sized New Nintendo 3DS hit US shores a few months later in September of the same year.
And here we are into February 2017, two years later, and still if you walk into a big box retailer day after a hot new 3DS game is released, there is none to be found to purchase for weeks at a time, so why after all this time, Nintendo still can't supply the demand out there! :)

Xbox360onPC.jpg
"Never Say Never," Xbox boss Phil Spencer says it's unlikely, but not ruled out!

The Xbox One added backwards compatibility support in November 2015, allowing users to play some Xbox 360 games. Backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games will be available with Project Scorpio, which launches this holiday.
The Xbox One console has proven its able to play most Xbox 360 games with not much problems, just a bit of updating, and now that the Xbox One is basically a mini-PC based on x86 cores, instead of power-pc, users are wondering if the next step will be 360 on PC by Microsoft.

!!! DO NOT UPDATE!!!

Just a friendly warning, Please Do Not Update your EmuNAND to the newest v11.3 firmware from Nintendo that was just released, as you will not be able to boot into EmuNAND afterwards, due to the fact big 'N' has finally patched, the minor version of 'native_firm', but don't worry an FIX is incoming, and soon everything will be back to normal!
Nintendo as usual is up to their old tricks, they have recently released a major new firmware for their popular 3DS handheld and as such it breaks a number of good exploits on the system, one of them being 'fasthax' and another being features like 'emunand' that depend on lower 'native_firm' value, but not to worry both the Gateway 3DS Team and scene developers like SMEA are already hard to work at figuring out all the patches that big 'N' did and will have workarounds soon for most of the old exploits, and as usual we will...

In hindsight, eSports should be a far older industry than it actually is.

Gamers have been around since the 1970s, competitive gaming since the late 1990s, yet eSports tournaments didn’t really enter the public consciousness in the West until the mid-2010s. Somehow, it took decades for a natural extension of video gaming to gain a foothold in the community.
Why? The answer is a simple one – internet speeds. Even in South Korea, where eSports got its first outing as a national activity, sophisticated broadband networks didn’t begin to appear until the early 2000s. The rest is history; with all its digital ducks in a row, eSports’ subsequent growth has been explosive.

Now, everybody wants to get involved in eSports, whether that’s watching (16bn minutes of gaming footage were viewed by Twitch...

AreConsolesMissingCasinoGames.jpg
Online casinos are absolutely raking it in with their table, card, and slot machine offerings now equally as popular as PC and console games.

With an estimated 58.9% of people playing mobile games in 2017, could consoles start catering to the online casino and bingo audience to receive a cut of this lucrative market?
Are Casino Games Suited to Consoles?

There have never been any notable casino games for consoles, and perhaps there is a reason for that. Maybe they are just not suited to the console format, where gamers crave detailed multi-dimensional and intricate games. The typical console gamer in the US spends...
