Than on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One consoles, but Perhaps as High as $30 per Year!

The Nintendo Switch will require a paid subscription for online gaming, and we now have an idea of how much it will cost: 2,000-3,000 yen per year, which is between $17.63 and $26.44.
When the Nintendo Switch launches in just over one month from now on March 3rd, it will come with a limited 'online multiplayer service' available in few countries only, as such it will be totally FREE, but come along FALL 2017 time when it is fully online and ready for massive gaming action across the whole wide world, big 'N' has decided to charge for it, and looks like the rumored price will be around $30 big Mario bucks per year, or basically half-the-cost of current online services on the rival consoles Xbox One and PS4.

Have you gone to GameStop over the past few months and tried to buy a new game? Have they told you that it’s not in stock?

They may simply be lying to you, fueled by a new program that discourages GameStop salespeople from selling unopened copies of video games.
GameStop, even back in their earlier form of EB Ganes (aka) Electronic Boutique have always been trying their best with some clever marketing that is on borderline an outright scam, but the latest circle of life (it's really called that), is really just outright clear theft! :)

64GB Devkit Memory / Battery Percentage Gauge / Auto Screen Brightness Control / Early NX Firmware Version

An unedited version of a new Nintendo Switch advert has revealed the upcoming console's developer menus - seemingly revealing that Switch devkits come with 64GB of internal storage.
Spotted by NeoGAF, the accidentally revealed commercial includes several cuts to a Switch in developer mode, rather than the gameplay footage added in later to other versions. Nintendo of course has removed the 'leaked video' and most of the mirror'ed copies of it, but not before we got to take a look at it ourselves, and capture out the 3 screenshots that matter, which shows the DevMenu itself, and you will notice it means the kits have twice as much memory, 64GB of internal storage instead of the retail 32GB version.

Yet Another Exclusive MaxConsole Review!

Our very own JHardin1112 is back with another one of his famous Nintendo reviews, and this week he is taking a deep look into the very popular Super Mario Maker for the Nintendo 3DS handheld, covering all its Pro's and Con's.

Super Mario Maker on 3DS IS the Mario game you always wanted, but could never have, until now. A handheld port of its Wii U counterpart (Super Mario Maker - released in 2015), Super Mario Maker on 3DS is essential a level creation tool comprised of popular Mario game elements. SMM gives players the ability to create an infinite number of levels with the included toolset. The only limitation truly being your own imagination. The possibilities are practically endless. You want to have 1-ups shoot out of a bullet bill cannon - why not? Or how about crafting a level with the names of your young kids scattered throughout and loaded with coins just to...

Over 2.5 Million Gamers’ Accounts Now Leaked Online!

Two popular gaming forums 'XBOX360 ISO' and 'PSP ISO' were hacked back in 2015, and all account passwords, email addresses and IP addresses were all just recently exposed and of course forum users are advised to change all of their accounts' passwords asap!
These two hacks occurred almost a month ago, but now the 'databases' have been made public and added online to various 'pwned' sites, and other forum sites like here on MaxConsole and GBATemp have seen a major rise in illegal login attempts of using the now decrypted leaked passwords on similar gamer nick logins, so remember if you have a BAD HABIT of using 'same passwords' on multiple sites, PLEASE STOP DOING THAT and CHANGE THEM right away!

With E3 2017 just around the corner, its time to Flashback 22 years ago, and see how it all started!

E3 today is a thunderstorm of neon spectacle. It’s marketing buzzwords and hip executives wearing blazers and t-shirts as they show us their hot new video game trailers.
After the crash of '83, there was dead era in 'home video gaming and computer', but by 1995 the market had recovered and E3 was born, here is some of the original footage of that era, complete with SEGA, SONY, and NINTENDO! Sorry XBOT's, Microsoft was not into wonderful new re-birth era of 'video gaming yet'! They were still busy playing number games in Lotus 1-2-3!

Nintendo has announced today that it’s ending production of the Wii U in Japan, which officially draws the era of that console to a close.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be the last game made for the system, which will not see future production or releases the way you sometimes see last-generation consoles bleed into the new.
Sad news for those 13 million owners of the Nintendo Wii U console, their generation is now 100% officially dead as per the recent earnings report released by Nintendo early this morning, but good news for those lining-up for Nintendo's new hybrid, they are increasing production to met demand after seeing a high amount of pre-orders rolling in already!
