The manual for new Nintendo 3DS Slide Pad Expansion claims you will get 480 hours of play time off one AAA battery!

The crazy looking, bulky add-on for the 3DS that adds the missing second circle pad is finally out, along with the truth on what it offers to the loyal 3DS Nintendo gamer besides the circle pad!

December 10, it is finally on the shelfs in Japan, and it took no time at all for someone to rip the box open and see how it works and what it does.

There was alot of rumors that because of it its huge bulky size that it would extend the short 3 hour playtime of the 3DS by including a bigger battery, and at first glance the box and manual you think it would claiming 480 hours of play time.

Truth is, that is just for the 'circle pad', the expansion add-on does nothing more, as it just has a little AAA battery slot, it does not extend the 3DS playtime...

Nintendo is trying to plan the starting-price better for Wii-U launch, so they don't have to drop the price shortly afterwards!

Learn from your previous 'launch' mistakes. That is the current 'mission statement' from the top brass over at Nintendo with the up-coming Wii-U launch, not to have the same slow 3DS sales problems!

Nintendo wants to avoid having the same price issues with the Wii U launch as they did originally with the 3DS launch.

Making the same mistake of what they did before with the 3DS would be total suicide in the media and with their loyal fans.

Recently Nintendo's president make statements that it looks like they are going to learn from their past mistakes but the big question is, will they infact price it at point that everyone will be grabbing them left, right and center once it launches, or will be sitting on the shelf waiting...

Review of the Wii Game 'Go Vacation' by 'Jeremy Hardin'

Go Vacation! How about you Go and get this game!

A Review by Jeremy Hardin (JHardin1112)

Game - Go Vacation
Version - Wii
Obtained - Review Copy courtesy of Namco Bandai Games

Go Vacation is at it's core a collection of mini-games, but it is also an exploration game and you get rewarded for that exploration. Honestly, if you took away the exploration and were left with just the mini-games to participate in, then I'd tell you to pass on Go Vacation. Thankfully, that is not the case. When you're playing this game you'll find that it's not just about participating in activities, it's really about experiencing the environment in which the activities take place. Trust me when I say, there is a lot of to see and a lot to do. Go Vacation is packed with charm, style, personality and...

Reason: Some games will required you to purchase a 'memory card' to use them fully!

Another way to sell their costly PS Vita 'memory cards' <OR> Another way to use more customers in the portable Gaming Market. As Sony has decided you need accessories right away off the shelf to play!

Sony has confirmed that the $249 PS Vita will be UNABLE to play the following titles out of the box:

For all of those games to run you MUST buy an add on memory card as they will be unable to save to their own carts.

Why does Nintendo include a memory card when it really is optional (all retail games save to their own carts) yet Sony omits one when its an absolute requirement if you want to play...

Following up of how Sony and EA has added a ton of fine print to their TOS, Microsoft has done the same with the latest Dashboard update

With the new Dashboard update, Microsoft has used that to also update their TOS and add in a big section 18 which basically removes your right to ever sue the corporation giant if things go wrong!

Microsoft has taken the opportunity of joining the anti-consumer "you can't sue us" club with its latest firmware update.

Following on from the anti-consumer giants at Electronic Arts and Sony, Microsoft have updated their Terms Of Service to force users to give up Live (and give up playing new games and loose any funds on their XBL accounts), if you don't agree to the ton of fine print presented to you with their updated service agreement when you try to install the new Dashboard that was recently released...

Turning Blue... Sony has decided to switch from the PS3 'red on black' look to a new 'white on blue'

Recently PlayStation trailers have all opened with a blue PlayStation logo, rather than the red XMB wave of before. Now it has been revealed that the whole of PlayStation will have a change in color!

Sony has decided to go back to their roots from the early days of PS2, when they used more lighter colors, no more 'DARK' theme for the PS3 branding, it all switched over to from red and black to white and blue.

Currently, just the TV 'trailers' and 'websites' have changed over, but in the coming weeks you see also the 'online' parts changing, James Gallagher, Blog Manager for SCEE recently stated the following on why Sony is revamping their look:

Classification body outs new release? Suggests February launch

UK ratings body the BBFC appears to have outed Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition. Granted an 18-rating earlier today, the game's listed for release on February 17.

The BBFC has rated Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for release on Feb. 17th 2012, this should be the whole game rather than the shell for DLC the original release was, expect original buyers to be naturally upset and anti-DLC campaigners to rub their hand with glee as more than 3 million buyers get burned by the great DLC rip off following on from their experiences of being unable to play when they couldn't redeem their online rip off codes (resulting in the always online requirement being dropped at least on PS3).

Dutch Copyright Cartel is being sued for Breach Of Copyright

Anti-piracy group BREIN is caught up in a huge copyright scandal in the Netherlands. A musician who composed a track for use at a local film festival later found it being used without permission!

In a very pleasing case of the jailer getting jailed, 'Melchior Rietveldt' a Dutch musician was suprised to discover upon watching a Harry Potter DVD that the Dutch version of the MPAA (called BREIN) were using a song he had made for a one off show as the backing track to a 'anti-piracy advert' which is a clear breach of his copyright, worse still when he complained and threatened to sue he was offered a "deal" which included him "donating" a share of the settlement to a charitable trust run by the guy offering the deal, this has now exploded into a massive corruption scandal.
