PSVR could either MAKE or BREAK, the whole world of Virtual Reality Gaming, depending on its Overall Sales!

Let’s face it, the state of virtual reality gaming isn’t looking so great these days. Though the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive managed to sell out rather quickly upon each of their respective releases, sales of the two devices have pretty much flatlined.

Analysts are saying that PlayStation VR coming out on October 13th could be the 'device' that either makes VR Gaming a real thing, or what breaks it totally, turning it into a one-time fad to be wondered at in the future, of why it failed and the bubble exploded so fast.

Air Server also lets you transmit via Google Cast and Miracast.

AirServer, makers of software that essentially turns anything into an AirPlay sever, has announced the availability of AirServer for the Xbox One. That means you can transmit your AirPlay screens to your gaming console, thereby creating a black hole of Microsoft-on-Apple madness.

The AirServer app has been very popular, and now thanks to UWP and it has been extended over to now work on the Xbox One.

Before Tiger Woods, there was another famous Golfer on the covers of the Golfing games back in the day.

Before Tiger Woods' PGA Tour Golf became the video-game golfing standard, and a full year before EA even rustled up a PGA Tour game at all, came Arnold Palmer's Tournament Golf. Sadly, the great golfer and ice-tea-cocktail inventor died on Sunday (September 25), aged 87, sparking many a well-earned eulogy. Yet few of these refer to his influence on gaming.

Most people these days remember Tiger Woods has been the poster golfer for all the EA Sports games, but before all that there was another real famous golfer on the video gaming cover art, infact he was one of the very first to endose a game, long time before it became the norm to have a 'celebrity' name tie-in to a new sports game.

Donald Trump Mobile Game On iPhone And Android, Imagines a World where he has become President!

New Zealand-based game developers have launched a free mobile game featuring a character based on someone most Americans feel very strongly about, one way or the other: Donald Trump. Called Jrump, the main character shares an uncanny resemblance with the appearance and name of 2016 Republican presidential candidate.

Since the big first debate is coming up in few hours here in North America, and its going to be watched by millions and millions around the world live, I thought it would be good idea to inform you about a great new free mobile game you can play while waiting for the debate to start, or when there is break during it for a Hillary Clinton time-out so she can rest for a bit! :)

This Broken-Down Van is a Birthday Dream come true for Retro Nintendo 64 Lovers!

September 26th, 2016 marks the 20th birthday of the Nintendo 64 console...well, its North American birthday anyway. Despite launching three days earlier than originally planned, with only two games to choose from, the console was a massive commercial and critical success, which had a lot to do with its library of wonderful games that quickly started to come out after the launch.

So here we are 20 years later, and hoping that Nintendo would had been nice enough to use this special time to announce their upcoming NX hybrid system, but instead nothing, so to cheer us up, we decided to take a look at how a true Nintendo fan honors the 64 by turning his old broken-down van into a dream come true for retro classic gaming lovers.

Vita_Too_Late.jpg
The PS Vita is a "nice machine" that came out "at a time when very few people needed a dedicated portable device."

The PlayStation Vita is a "nice machine," but it came "too late" to find and sustain a meaningful audience. That's the opinion of Jack Tretton, the former CEO of SCEA who left the company in 2014 after 19 years.

Seems old Jack from earlier Sony days, thinks the Vita was too late, and I agree with him, the Vita should had appeared as the PSP 2, instead of sony trying out the smaller cartridge-less digital-only PSP-Go and then trying out Sony Ericsson Xperia Play setup, before finally going back to their roots of of using the original PSP design with the Vita handheld.

'w64e10' opens a new hole in the normally closed Xbox One Console's Ecosystem!

In previous generations, if you wanted to emulate one game console on another, you'd generally have to use some sort of jailbreak or hack to install unauthorized homebrew apps on the system. Today, thanks in part to Microsoft's Universal Windows Platform, you can download a Nintendo 64 emulator to your Xbox One directly from Microsoft's official store.

A couple of weeks ago, we reported on the NESBox multi-console emulator getting approved for usage on the Xbox One, but it didn't last long before it was unapproved and never having a chance to appear in the Xbox Store for actual downloading, but this time around the 'w64e10' has made the jump from being a Windows 10 app to being now available for the normally locked-down console, thanks to a new app extension feature that costs $10, allowing you to use it on both...

Newly Enabled Windows 10 EFS System, Also Prevents Users From Modding Their Games!

Microsoft announced a while ago, that future Windows 10 Games would start to use EFS (encryption-file-system) on all new App Installs, and Forza Horizon 3 makes the beginning of this new system, which has started already to cause problems, and also upset the Forza modding community.

Forza Horizon 3 is the latest in the very popular series of Forza games, and there has been a great number of amazing mods in the past for the older games, but now the latest version is using the newly enabled EFS system of Windows 10, infact if you don't have EFS enabled on your PC, you will not be able to even download the game, instead getting an Error Core 0x80073CF9 displayed.

Besides of course to prevent 'piracy', the new DRM system seems to have been causing issues with game speed and loading, with alot of users complaining...

Final release date currently not set.

The PlayStation VR update for the PlayStation 4 version of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune, which was previously planned for release on October 13, has been changed to a “pending” release date, Koei Tecmo announced.

Sadly, it seems if we want to have Heart-Pounding Attention, with bouncing boobs and bikini girls in full VR right up in our face, we going to have to wait until an later on date, in the meantime here is what we will be missing come October 13th when PSVR arrives:

The Smartphone-Native Generation already sees Smart Devices as all-in-one Game Consoles!

Square Enix today released its 2016 annual report to investors, which outlines three key initiatives it plans to pursue going forward--one of which is premium mobile games.

When you mention Square-Enix to most console gamers, they will remember them as company that bought them FF7 and all the other sequels in the Final Fantasy era, but if you looking to them to keep supporting dedicated consoles, think again because in the speech recently released in their 2016 Annual Report (attached below) by President Yosuke Matsuda for its investors, they basically stated the company sees smart devices like phones the new form of dedicated gaming consoles, and releasing high-end games for these devices is going to be their main focus from now on.

Would Make Gob Bluth Proud

Much like the venerable technology of the floppy drive, Europe’s hair metal classic “The Final Countdown” just won’t die. After floating into laughable obscurity, the synth-heavy anthem was reborn when a magician named Gob made it his theme song.

There is a growing trend, in ripping apart old computers and taking out their moving parts like floppy drives, hard drives, scanners, printers and turning them into something useful and enjoyable again instead of trying to get the old computer to work which might be next to impossible, the old moving parts inside can be instead used for useful purpose, and one such master at this new art form is Zadrozniak where he has turned his desktop of over 64 Floppy Drives combined along with a few dozen hard drives, and couple of old scanners into one nice sounding musical instrument.

Living on the Cutting-Edge-Of-Technology, is NOT a Perfect 4K World, as the XB1S is having some Major Issues!

The Xbox One S makes a great 4K set top box. It’s a rare box capable of handling HDR, a part of the Ultra High Definition format that allows for better details in scenes of extreme brightness or darkness. But the HDR on the Xbox One S is currently experiencing some significant bugs that firmly drop the console from best in class.

You can't have the very latest in the best tech it seems, without some issues, looks like Microsoft rolled out the hardware of the Xbox One S in August, before the underneath software was ready, and now owners are waiting for news when a patch will be scheduled.

Report claims big 'N' is telling retailers to place their orders now for Holiday stock of Wii U, as that is it!

As the Nintendo NX launch is coming up in Spring 2017, Nintendo has finally moved to put the brakes on the Wii U console, with retailers told to put in their last orders for new shipments now before end of September, because after that is no more Wii U's.

It seems that Nintendo has decided to call it quits on the Wii U console early, with production ending and stores told to place their last orders for new stock, but not to worry as some retailers like Amazon have reported they have enough stock to last another 5 years! :)
