Bethesda fans may not have Fallout 5 or Elder Scrolls 6 yet.

However, a Fallout 4 VR (virtual reality) game may be one fans are waiting for. If Bethesda’s venture into VR is successful, then this game can revolutionize the industry.
Unlike alot of other VR Games so far, Bethesda claims their version of Fallout 4 from 2015 being converted right now to VR will be the 'full game', not just some tech demo, or little extra-mission, from start to finish just like their original, you will be able to play it in VR mode.

Most companies have already abandoned Windows XP and Vista, including Microsoft once Vista leaves extended support in April, but Blizzard is known for long-term support.

This is the company that is still selling Diablo 2, even producing retail disks for it last I checked, almost seventeen years after it was released (including a patch last year).
Well if you are an long-time fan of playing World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, or Diablo III, you might finally have to think about upgrading your PC, as their games will no longer support older 'operating systems' which means you will need Windows 7 or Windows 10 rigs!

Valve plans new system along with fee increase

Valve is set to drop its Steam Greenlight system — which allows customers to vote on small-scale and fledgling projects — in favor of a more streamlined system.
The new system is going to be called 'Steam Direct', and instead of community voting up or down a project, the developers will just need to fill out a simple form, submit their game, but now instead of paying a flat $100 fee, they could be charged up to $5,000 depending on the type of game they are submitting, below is some of the details of the new system, with more info coming out in later on this month.

Funcom’s new open world survival game Conan Exiles launched in Early Access, sells 320,000 copies on Steam first week
Funcom releases custom Unreal Editor for mod development and launches the Conan Exiles Steam Workshop

Awww yeah. Even if you're not going to GDC or PAX, this is news (don't be scared off by the mention of those events)! GDC will be talking about the future of the game at both events, and they've just announced some sales numbers, as well as the launch of mod support.
While the game has certainly gotten hefty buzz for its wieners, I'm personally quite impressed by Funcom's commitment to delivering a great game in Early Access, and hope that if you haven't jumped in yet, you'll give it some consideration :)

"Never Say Never," Xbox boss Phil Spencer says it's unlikely, but not ruled out!

The Xbox One added backwards compatibility support in November 2015, allowing users to play some Xbox 360 games. Backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games will be available with Project Scorpio, which launches this holiday.
The Xbox One console has proven its able to play most Xbox 360 games with not much problems, just a bit of updating, and now that the Xbox One is basically a mini-PC based on x86 cores, instead of power-pc, users are wondering if the next step will be 360 on PC by Microsoft.

In hindsight, eSports should be a far older industry than it actually is.

Gamers have been around since the 1970s, competitive gaming since the late 1990s, yet eSports tournaments didn’t really enter the public consciousness in the West until the mid-2010s. Somehow, it took decades for a natural extension of video gaming to gain a foothold in the community.
Why? The answer is a simple one – internet speeds. Even in South Korea, where eSports got its first outing as a national activity, sophisticated broadband networks didn’t begin to appear until the early 2000s. The rest is history; with all its digital ducks in a row, eSports’ subsequent growth has been explosive.

Now, everybody wants to get involved in eSports, whether that’s watching (16bn minutes of gaming footage were viewed by Twitch...
