You heard it right. Capcom/Namco fighting crossover Street Fighter x Tekken will arrive to iOS devices this Summer.

The game will contain the same characters and fighting moves contained on the console disc, with controls "optimized for your phone", plus a few extras.

At E3, Capcom had a demo of Street Fighter X Tekken running on an iPad in the invite-only part of their booth. The demo’s controls were simplified with a punch, kick, special, and a tag button.

This evening, Capcom announced Street Fighter X Tekken as an actual game that’s releasing for iOS devices this summer. The game will feature new modes, and Capcom have confirmed Ryu and Chun-Li and Kazuya and Nina as playable characters so far.

Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile will be compatible with iOS 5 and higher and you will be able to play it on the iPhone 4 and 4S, iPod touch 4th Gen or later, iPad 2 and the New iPad.

Check out the game's screens below!
