|
Seems that the $99 Xbox 360 + Kinect bundle with monthly subscription arrived to Best Buy and GameStop too. However, be careful and do some hard math before getting one that way...

As you may know, Microsoft announced a $99 Xbox 360 Kinect bundle with two-year gold sub for $15 a month a few weeks ago.
Well, Microsoft’s has announced that the deal will expand to US chain retailers Best Buy and Gamestop.
The offer was previously only available at Microsoft's retail outlets as a trial retail model, but Microsoft says that the expansion is still part of a "pilot period."
The offer provides customers with a lower upfront cost for the 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect and Xbox Live Gold, by saddling them with a two-year Live Gold commitment at $14.99 a month. |
Now, remember that in total you will be spending around $460, so, think twice before getting one this way, and don't forget to do some math first...
A 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle currently has a suggested retail price of $299, with Xbox Live Gold at about $50 a year, for an eventual total of $399.
Of course, all of this math is subject to change over the next two years at the potential whims of retailer deals or official console price drops. |
