Nintendo has released a fresh New Super Mario Bros. 2 trailer, which features lots of coins and jumping.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 is out in Japan this Saturday -alongside the 3DS XL-, but NA/Europe owners will have to wait until next month for it to be released.
Now, Nintendo has released a new trailer featuring lots of coins and jumping.
There are coins in every single Super Mario game, but this time around gold shiny things take centre stage. Trails of coins help Mario overcome increasingly tough courses and obstacles, and it seems that if you manage to collect a good number of them a hidden audience ceremoniously claps at your performance. Bit spooky.
There are also golden rings that, when passed through, transforms almost everything into solid gold. It seems that Nintendo is going for something of a high score approach to New Super Mario Bros. 2.
