Media Create has released its weekly sales chart. New Super Mario Bros. 2 'rakes' in the gold, 3DS XL has a big debut while PS Vita sinks again.

Japanese firm Media Create has released its sales chart for last Week, which was this year' No. 30 (tracking from July 23 to July 29).
- Software.
As expected, New Super Mario Bros. 2 had a very strong debut with 407,000 units sold. Persona 4 Arena for PS3 came in second with 128,485 units moved. Nayuta no Kiseki, the latest entry in the long-running "Trails" series for PSP from Falcom, came in at third with nearly 75k units sold.

Games Count: 3DS - 7, PSP - 5, PS3 - 3, WII - 3, 360 - 1, NDS - 1.
- Hardware.
3DS XL (LL in Japan) claims the top spot on the hardware charts, selling 187,480 units. Combined with the original iteration, the Nintendo 3DS sold 229,635 units in total last week.
Plus, the PS Vita sinks again, selling around 10K units. And actually, Famitsu reported that the handheld sold less than that -9,081 Units-, being surpased even by the Nintendo Wii, which sold around 10,549 (check out the Source Links below for both charts).
