| Another Metroid game coming soon, possibly for the new Wii U, if Team Ninja has their way! |
Even tho Team Ninja claims to be close with Nintendo designers, no Metroid plans have been officially announced for the up-coming Wii U

Team Ninja’s Yosuke Hayashi claims that he and his team are still close to Nintendo designer Yoshio Sakamoto. Both Hayashi and Sakamoto are directors of the controversial Metroid: Other M for Wii. According to Hayashi, Team Ninja wants to work with Nintendo on another Metroid title.
“Unfortunately Metroid is kind of out of our [Team Ninja] league as it’s Nintendo’s game, but we’re still in close touch with co-creator Sakamoto-san, so we want to do something with him moving forward definitely. It really depends on what he wants to do with the game first.”
