|Samsung has announced yesterday the new Galaxy Tab family member, baptized as Galaxy Tab 2 The Galaxy Tab 2 it is an introductory device with the following specs: 1GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 7 inch 1024×600 TFT LCD display, 3MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, A-GPS, 16 or 32GB internal memory, microSD slot, 4000mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 support and optional 3G HSPA+.
As you see, it is not very impressive. The only think that makes it different is the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) that will be running inside, becoming the first company tablet that incorporates it.
Release date is expected by March on Europe and some prices have been revealed too:
Wi-Fi: 2,995SEK (450USD)
3G: 3,695 SEK (556USD)
Wi-Fi: 349EUR (463USD)
3G: 429EUR (568USD)
Wi-Fi: 2,400NOK (420USD)
3G: 2,990NOK (523USD)
Wi-Fi: 2,350DKK (419USD)
I personally think that Samsung is confusing customers, releasing a lot of Galaxy products (Smartphones and tablets) with a short time delay.
