Simple things go crazy !

THis is my little review for this small game, looking very easy first and go to drive you crazy later !

Pot Panic reviewed … Simple things going crazy
Last days a new title appeared to the app store called pot panic,
I saw the screens, and decided to donwload / Install the free "Lite" version and installed it on
my ipad ...
Well this is a easy game, with a so basic principle that everybody MUST understand.
But dont get me wrong, easy things can go really really wild !
How it works :
On the screen are two pots, one on the left and one on the right side,
on top of these pots are first one vegetable above each pot, which indicate the veggie
that should be dropped inside …
In the middle is a mixed up line of vegetables which need to be sorted !
The first levels are quite easy to play … One color to the left, one color to the right!
You are always fighting against the clock, so its needed to be quick !
You might think now, what a crap easy to play, BUT you are very wrong !
Step by step it get really harder, having not only 1 vegetable per side, no up to 4 veggies on each side
can make you crazy, followed up by several extra items.
Some extras are helpful (Freeze the timer, Give you extra 10 Seconds ) , others are a punishments ( shuffling the order of indicator veggies )
In later levels, some vegetables are "rotten" means they need to be sorted nowhere, you must tap and destroy them !
When the timer goes low, you really get stressed.
Pros / Contras :
+ Nice graphics and design
The chinese style fits well with the game, the graphics dont confuse !
+ Speed and Flow of the game
The speed is fine, my device never really lagged !
+ Sound
The chinese sound does it well, the "time low" version stressed me alot !
+ Internet Highscore
You can challenge worldwide players with the online highscore
+ Gameplay
Easy, quick, instant fun
- Repeating sound
The sound ingame is always the same, some variations would have been fine
- Highscore submission
When you cancel to send highscore, it gets submitted to the net, if you want or not !
You dont want to blame yourself if you have only a few points while testing
- Depth of game
The biggest advantage is also a big weakpoint, as quick you understand the game, it wont change during gameplay,
yes it stresses, its fun and can make you sweat BUT its somehow not variating alot !
Overall :
This Game is instant fun and the application to share with your friends.
It looks nice, is funny, the graphics and the sound is nice.
You gonna spend lot of time with it, on the other side dont expect deep gameplay,
but its not made for that, it looks like its the perfect "free time filler game"
The Highscore submission is something need to be fixed during next updates !!!
But hey, for 1.60 Euros … its a nice choice !
If you like quick gaming and want to play something looking easy going total crazy at the end
you should try it !
For the sceptic there is a free "lite" version covering a few levels to test !
My Rating :
You should try the lite, its really a nice game, and if you like the way it works, the full version is a nice choice
you cant do something wrong if youre a casual gamer !
