Croteam has announced that Legend of the Beast, the DLC for Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter will be released on May 15.

Now you can play some new adventures with your favorite hero while you track down the mysterious ram-god of The Great Obelisk.

The new DLC will cost $4.99 and it will include:

• Three New Campaign Missions
• Three New Brutal Survival Mode Maps
• Three New Chaotic Versus Mode Maps

According to Davor Hunski from Croteam:

“Our team is very excited to extend the world of the classic Serious Sam: The Second Encounter and we think the fans will really enjoy the news areas and scenarios we’ve put into Legend of the Beast."

But that's not all, Croteam has also announced that they will offer us versus and survivor modes free-to-play via Steam, and they will be available to download from May 15.

These modes will include: Capture the Flag, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Instant Kill, Last Man Standing, My Burden, Survival and Team Survival.
