Looks like Capcom screwed up things, as the latest Street Fighter x Tekken patch breaks the game with a character move...

The latest and recently released Street Fighter x Tekken patch, which is the v1.04, introduces a game breaking bug on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.
The crossover fighting game crashes whenever Rolento's knife makes contact with a fireball. Shoryuken has verified this bug occurs on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 games after being updated to version 1.04.

Seems that, when Rolento's Stinger move makes contact with a projectile, the game freezes.
Well, at least the patch did fix various glitches, including hit box issues.
