GAMEfest will not be celebrated this year and GameStop wants to strike hard announcing its own fair.

GameStop wants to strike the competition and taking advantage of the no-celebration of this year's GAMEfest, they have announced GameStop EXPO 2012 that will be held in the US, specifically in San Antonio, Texas on August 29.

The event will be open to GameStop PowerUp Rewards members, with general admission priced $35 and VIP passes $100.
