Nintendo of America has just confirmed the US release for Fire Emblem 3DS via Twitter:

"We are excited to confirm a NEW game announcement coming to the US: the new 3DS Fire Emblem! More info to come."

Fire Emblem 3DS was released in Japan a few months ago, and it's a tactical RPG with may elements of the previous entries in the franchise.

In Japan, this game was the first Nintendo game to offer paid DLC with characters from previous Fire Emblem games.
