John L. Beiswenger, author of Link: A novel and he claims that the Assassind Creed's Animus is the same thing as the author's Link device

John L. Beiswenger, author wrote a novel in 2002 called "Link" where a device similar to the Animus of Assassins Creed could be used for the same purposes, this is, gain access to ancestral memories. Now, the author is suing ubisoft for "plagiarism" of the concept as you can see in the .pdf link below.
Weird.
