Looks like we could soon get a new Avengers game by Ubi, as spotted on a recent registered domain: avengersbattleforearth.com

Apparently, Marvel and Ubisoft could be working on a video game based on The Avengers, as the domain name avengersbattleforearth.com, was registered last week.
Uncovered by Fusible, Marvel has registered the domain name for a project called Avengers: Battle For Earth. In the grand scheme of things such a name may not be a biggie as it could be tied to one of the many animated/web-based/comic projects Marvel has going on but what’s interesting is that the domain is named on a server owned by Ubisoft. So will the French based company best known for giving us Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, and the Raving Rapids be giving us some superhero goodness in the future?

Did you like the movie? Even if not, this could be a great idea.
The last time we heard about an Avengers game, was when THQ was in charge of one, but it seems they screwed up things, as the project never saw the light of day. Let's hope this one is real and turns out pretty good.
