This is serious. Google's Android Market needs urgently a revision in their App approval policies. Symantec has reported malicious code, (Android.Counterclank) in a dozen of Apps from developers: iApps7, Ogre Games and redmicapps.

The Apps appear to gather private data from users and start device's erratic behavior. One user of "Deal & Be Millionarie" said:
| The game is decent … but every time you run this game, a ‘search icon gets added randomly to one of your screens," said one user on Jan. 16 after downloading "Deal & Be Millionaire," one of the 13. "I keep deleting the icon, but it always reappears. If you tap the icon you get a page that looks suspiciously like the Google search page |
Google, remains mute and is not sending any warning or dropping the Apps form the Market by now.
So, watch out for the games you download from the Market.
