MS: Any Xbox 360 you buy today WILL work with Project Natal

As part of the press release for the $50 Xbox 360 rebate, MS also stated the following bit of important news: "as announced earlier this year, the Xbox 360 you buy today will work with “Project Natal” and controller-free gaming in the future."

huh.... ummm no natel will work with all 360`s.

it was probably in a recent update....microsoft likes to push updates well in advanced for new peripherals coming later.

Tell that to Nintendo. The Wii is still printing money. The same type of BS spewed from the mouths of people who didn't like the fact the Wii was motion control. Look what that sh1t has done and continues to do. I wouldn't write off anything.

Nope, it's just a shoddy piece of crap. Hitachi drive, gave DRE's and scratched some discs. As you can see from my Gamertag I've recently been playing through the few XBLA titles I have as the thing doesn't read discs any more. I've had the RROD a few times but that didn't phase me as they offer a free repair. When the thing refuses to read discs and scratches 'em it's apparently nothing to do with them.

EDIT: As for natal itself, I'm actually quite optimistic. The voice and facial recognition coupled with hand gestures and the controller seems perfect for so many genres.

Then come to think of it, why should I? I still only play BF: BC and not even often these days. Also motion controls sucks ass. Why would I want to stand around in my living room looking like a moron while I play games?
