A new Wii UK bundle has been 'leaked' and while it looks as if the Wii will get no price cut in UK, new buyers will potentially got a whole lot more bang for their buck. The new bundle reportedly includes a Wii, controller, motion plus and copies of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort!

A retail source has told MCV that the UK will shortly unveil a brand new Wii hardware SKU that will replace the current bundle incorporating Wii Sports.

The source has not, however, been lead to believe that the new bundle will be any cheaper than the current offering, meaning that the UK could yet miss out on the price cut arriving soon in North America and Japan.

The pay-off, though, is that UK gamers are set to get a lot more included in Wii’s basic hardware SKU than consumers overseas.
The new bundle will include the console, a WiiMote, one nunchuck controller, a MotionPlus peripheral and copies of both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.</blockquote>

At least it's not a price rise. But still, look at what happened to how many consoles Sony soled when they actually had a price cut besides talking about "value".

the price went up to £199 a few weeks ago so i;d expect this bundle to be the same price.

It didn't actually, some retailers increased the price, some didn't and a few lowered it. Its all down to the wholesale price, which for this SKU has gone down to the old wholesale price. Retailers that don't drop the price for this new SKU are screwing over their customers.

Unfortunately Nintendo have stated that the price is upto the retailers.
