how to run OFW and CFW on one PSP

you need 5.00 official eboot and Despertar del cementerio v8
WILL NOT WOT WORK FOR TA-088v3 or PSP-3000 (TA-090v2)
this is asuming you have a pandora.
install DC8, make sure it works
install 6.00 OFW onto your PSP
done

right now you have 6.00 on your NAND and 5.00m33 on stick (thanks to yoshihiro you can have 5.50GEN-B2 on stick i dont care)
if you want to play UMD boot PSP as normal
if you want emu or other brew hold L shoulder button while booting, this will start DCv8 up, select test 5.00m33 or test 5.50GEN-B2 whatever the case may be
that is all thats needed
no flashing back and forward, you have two firmwares on the go.

imagine you spend so long developing code for a game and most people download it rather than buy it.

my silent hill iso is US (i am major silent hill fan)and my UMD is euro region but still the developers still get my money.
mainly i get isos when friggin OFLC bans a game from australia, i have to know what i would be missing out on.
i try to buy but now they even try to stop imports, doesnt mean what im doing is right, but they are taking my freedom away.
i got silent hill homecoming imported before they started monitoring in coming games. (its not that different, aus version is easier as enemies die on ground without a finishing touch requirement (in US version if you dont finish them they get back up))

So you have to keep switching batteries if you want to do that.

Another thing... 500M33 from MS is crap. It doesn't boot ISOs, it doesn't boot homebrew, all it does is load. I think it can play music and movies but I never tried.

So in your theory its NOT that simple.

The only way to have OFW and CFW is to keep switching batteries and NAND dumps.
What I do is I have a NAND dump of my current CFW. I install OFW then boot from a normal battery. When I've had enough of the crap extremely limited firmware I put in my pandora battery, restore my NAND and be happy with my CFW.

If your still on 500M33 and games don't work then it's YOUR FAULT they don't. Update to 550GEN and all will work.

I download every game they ban. The banning gives me more of a want for that game.

Some games they ban are for the stupidest reasons.

I don't mind, I'm not going to miss out on the game but the devs do miss out on getting paid. Not my fault, its the gov's fault for that. I would pay if it was on the shelf for me to buy.

I've actually got a handful of imports as I knew of a shop that did import games if they were banned here. Now the shop is closed I'm back to downloading all those game now.

Yeah and those few wierdos own the game they just want it on a memstick. Although I do love my persona OST(full OST not some 10 track sample), and disgaea 2 is SOOO fun on the psp.

Agreed, the ONLY thing booting into M33 from a MS wont do is run PSP games downloaded from the PSN. Everything else is fine. And with a slim you don't necessarily need to keep swapping batteries. A hybrid pandora battery is all you need.

Then you are doing something wrong because mine is happily running ISO's and with the new XGEN update to DC8, which actually still runs from the the same files in DC8 anyway for the Test M33 option.

Recovery works correctly, popsloader and all other plugins work correctly, ISO, UMD, PSX titles, music, video and photos all work. Hell even the version spoof works correctly.

Maybe the same way everyone on the internet knows the features of a new firmware seconds after the release and most of the time days before?
The test M33 in DC8 is almost identically to the "normal" version.
