PSP Minis and other games from PSN

Having always been a Tetris fan I bought the new Minis version from the PSN.

It caught me by surprise when I tried to play it - I got the dreaded "it needs firmware 6.00 message".

I couldn't find a 6.00 version.txt so I editied the 5.50 version.txt and now Tetris works (in 5.50 GEN b2).

I have noticed that Gran Turismo is also available from the PSN.

My question is would the version.txt trick work on the PSN version of GT? Or will I be forced to upgrade to 6.00?

I'm not interested in upgrading to ofw, but will definately buy the game (either UMD or online version) if it can work with cfw.

My kingdom for a DC stick that allows you to boot into ofw!

That's because it doesn't need to be decrypted to play - I have seen this message on a few iso's now - so didn't bother to decrypt them and they all play fine.

People have been reporting that those minis work on all firmwares (confirmed as low as 4.01 M33)

I get that message for pixel junk too and it freezes with a black screen

The 6.00 version.txt did the trick for Tetris, but I don't know about other games.

edit: I've just noticed that Tetris will not work if I have cxmb active. The plugin needs disabling for Tetris to work.

I've been playing field runners, tetris, pixeljunk monsters, hero of sparta and a few others on 5.50genb and they all work fine. Mind you they are decrypted. But they do works m8.

hmm so this is what they did with dark alex booster humma nem fanjita and rest of the big wigs they got em locked up in $ony basement building these 5 dolla tetris-es and minis :D
