Has anyone been able to get Undead Knights to work on M33? Even after it's been decrypted using the 5.55-6.00 v2 decrypter all I get is a black screen when I try to load the game.

We tried the game in gen b2. It did not need to be decrypted to run on genb2. So we didn't put it in the game compatibility thread cuz we figured it would run on m33. Guess this is not the case from your report.

Why dont you just update it to 5.50 GEN-B2, as it will save the hassle of finding out. All games so far requiring 5.50 fw boots fine on GEN using the decrypter V2 tool. M33 is dead

Yeah, I'm thinking about it but I don't know too much about GEN at the moment. Like does it work perfectly on 1000's, does all homebrew work, do all PSP games work, do PSX games work, and is there anything that works on M33 but not GEN?

I installed it on my JAP 1000 from 5.00 m33-6 with no problems. So far everything works like it does before including PS1 games, as you just change the POPS using the GEN version of it. Every PSP iso I have used works and so does homebrew like snes emus, etc. It doesnt support 1.5 kernal for 1.5 homebrew like m33, yet who uses that now i dont know.
The only issue is Videos. I had some MP4's which wouldnt work on GEN but on M33 and i had to redo the resolution to 368x208 to work on GEN.
Basically, its a very good cfw, yet if you have a pandora and MS, you can always revert back if you really needed too.

Thanks! I just upgraded to 5.50 GEN-B2 and everything went smoothly. But the only problem I'm having is that games seem to be running a lot slower than they were on M33 even though I have the speed set to 333. Is there a way to fix it or is it just me having this problem?

It has been reported that some games run a bit slower on GEN. Personally, i have not noticed this and even on compressed Cso's. Using fake MS's can cause slowdown. What games are you trying?

works in 4.01-m33
as does gran turismo, so the eboot.bin needs decrypting as well

I tried Resistance Retribution and Liberty City Stories but I had the same issue before using the 3.71 fatmsmod patch on M33 so I think it's the same thing. Can I use the same patch on GEN?

This guy claims 3.71 fatsmod works on GEN, yet I have yet to test it.

Hmm, I would try that but reading the "and it made it so my PSP wouldn't boot up" part makes me too nervous since I don't have a pandora's battery lol. Is anyone willing to try it?

Crap, well thanks for posting that link I'll have to read it.
EDIT:
It seems like there's a 50/50 chance of it working, or even loading. I'm not confident enough to start messing around with the flash but I hope someone finds an easier solution.
