I have a bunch of questions and I hope you can answer them. My first question is how do u download wiiware from the homebrew channel? Second is, When i try to install the DVDx thing i get an error, how come? Third is some programs like wiicm, it doesn't look like it's showing up everything. Last I would like to know how to use wiird files. One last thing, when I load geko it stays at a blank screen. Thanks in advance.

What system software do you have? Is your wii a LU64+ wii? (check the serial). Do NOT upgrade to system menu 4.2 if you haven't already.

you can't download wiiware from the HBC. What error do you get in DVDx? Have you got the app in the right place. Try the latest installer for the HBC, DVDx and bootmii from hackmii.com

If you wii is not LU64+ then I recommend installing bootmii as boot2 and doing a backup.

Wiiware/VC stuff is installed using wads, which we cant discuss because of legal reasons.

for wiicm apps have to go like this on the SD card. SD:/apps/(appname)/boot.dol (or.elf)

For the DVDx error I get 10300002011. My Wii isn't lu64+ and I do have version 4.2. There is a new release of the HBC for 4.2 at Wibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_Channel. Also, how do I play burned games?

using backup launcher, should be available at dl.qj.net . Also I wish to state now....DONT MENTION WAREZ/PIRATED SOFTWARE. We only discuss hacking for the use of playing legit backups so that we dont damage the original.
