Okay, this might be a very old topic but Im curious...I just installed fatmsmod on m33-6 with the ms speedup on ALWAYS and everything is working fine...but there has been warnings not to do so...has anyone continued using both fatmsmod and ms speedup togather for a long term period?...And what might be the possible risks? (ex: burning out the memory stick or the mem stick driver)

I'm not 100% sure on how both work (iirc fatmsmod replaces read/write functions with the driver from 3.71), i think one will probably override the other as you won't be using both drivers at the same time.

You should really just use the 5.00M33-6 speed up on its own, it is superior to fatmsmod, and even if both work together i can't see any benefit.

Let me get this straight - you applied the fatmsmod - even when warned not to?

Do you think you know better than DAX and the rest of m33 or something?

besides - the most current ms speed up in the recovery menu is LOADS better than fatmsmod ever was.

I'd say to just use the one built into 5.00 M33 - it is super fast as it is.

Oh i just did it today...i wanted to see if it would increase the speed even more...hence why i asked if anyone else tried it before?

My guess is, the 5.00M33-6 speed increase is faster than fatmsmod ever was, using fatmsmod would only interfere with the speed increase possibly making it slower.

Well I previously had the fatmsmod in use on my PSP. However, I took Dark_Alex's advice and used Despertar Del Cemetario to re-install 5.00 M33-6. Doing that erases the fatmsmod and allows you to use the new speedup options (which are definitely better and worth using) so I hope you do the same.
