Is it a good idea to leave the speedup memory stick access option in 5.00 M33-6 set to "always"? The reason I ask is because there are other options like "VSH", "GAME + VSH", etc. so I was wondering why he didn't just make "always" the only option.

Because it's a hack, and hacks sometimes cause problems. When the fatmsmod patch first came out it accidentally disabled videos and music on the memory stick. That's why you're given a choice. However I'm pretty sure all the bugs have been worked out, so it's safe now.
