When you download full games from the PSN do they come in ISO format or EBOOT.PBP?
When the first ones came out they were EBOOT files.. e.g.
Ape Escape
Beats
Flow
There was like 5 of them...
Now i'm no longer seeing EBOOT files but ISO's.. are they now coming as ISO's instead of EBOOT files?
PSP Mini's (7 of them) = What format
PSP PSN Exclusive (16 of them) = What format
PSP PSN Full Games (168 of them) = What format
PSP PSX4PSP Games (66 of them) = What format
Also if they are coming in ISO format where does the PSP put those files?
ms0:/ISO/ or ms0:/PSP/GAME/ or ms0:/PSP/APP/ ?
I just don't see SONY using the ISO folder..

They're still EBOOTs. People just use NP-Decrypter to turn them into a standard ISO. Then they do the pirate dance and distribute it to people on the internet.

Wow, such a noob question.
They are still eboot in the PSP/GAME/******** dir.
They also come with a license in the PSP/LICENSE/*(long filename).RIF
If the license doesnt match the eboot it refuses to run.

Sorry about asking such a noob question...
I have never used NPDecrypter on a game which is why I didn't know it turned them into ISO's....
It explains a lot...
Thank you guys..

I think NP decrypter was made by D_A under the guise of a fake name. It has to much resemblance to some of his other earlier works not to be his. It been out so long and still sony can't/won't patch it.
I think we need something the reverse of NP decrypter. Take umd backup and change to crypted eboot and liscense file  Somebody already know how to do it from long ago just they don't wanna tell.

NPDecrypter was done by CipherUpdate a guy who was in no way related to DA. He actually has an account here on MaxConsole.

Ya know, I sometimes read these threads where people assume everything of value in the scene was done by Dark Alex, and I can't help but think that if I were a developer of PSP hacks, I'd be pretty offended by the implications.
