Hello,
i was just wondering is it possable to use a external drive or portable hard drive as a memory source, as in load games save games and install games to hard drive. I want to do this so i can install all of my games to the drive run them off them with disk in tray. I would also like to download market place things to the hard drive. Aparently xbox is adding movies on demand and things like that so a 1 TB drive will help. And if its possible i dont need everything that comes with it just the usb hard drive function.

If i need mods what sort of mods, does these particular mods void warranty, can i still use xbox live and not get banned.

Nope.
Only media (music, pics and videos) can be stored on an external USB HDD.
No marketplace games have been hacked to run on the xbox.
