David Cage has gone on record to rubbish news that Heavy Rain is only full of quick time events. He noted that the balance between such an occurrence and action is similar to Indigo Prophecy in the US.

<blockquote>David Cage has gone on record to rubbish claims by "gamers" that Heavy Rain is only full of quick time events. He mentions that the only people saying this are those that have never played the game, and that the balance of QTE versus action in the game is exactly like Farenheit (Indigo Prophecy in the US). He explains that the game only goes into QTE during a cutscene sequence, and allows you to control the character at all times throughout these unique experiences.

Cage also commented on Sony saying that "they really pay attention to the quality of the game. That's the only thing that matters to them, and to us too...I think we are in good shape, we made the game we wanted to make."</blockquote>

so basically, it's full of QTE's?

Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy is chock full of QTE's... more that any game, more than God of War, more than Shenmue....

I loved Indigo Prophecy but it was kinda like playing the most awesome version of Dragons Lair ever but after completing it I felt kinda dirty like I had been duped into playing a game just a notch more technically advanced than Myst or 7th guest and enjoying it.

I dont mind QTE if they progress the games storyline but if they are the storyline I have a bit of a problem.
