hi my other half updated our wii the 4.2 dont ask me why thats women for you!!

i want to soft mod my wii is there anyway i can do it now it has been updated??

I used Amarokz Softmod Wii 4.2 Guide and everything works fine ( GOOGLE --> Amarokz Softmod Wii 4.2 Guide )

If you use this then follow the guide steps but you must do page 9 before page 8
Eg in this order 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,8,10,11

yes. I recommend installing bootmii as boot2 and doing a backup first if you can (this in itself is a risk however but incredibly beneficial).

If you follow the tutorial step by step and word for word you will have no problems
After 10-15 mins your Wii will be softmodded again
