PSP 2000 or 3000?

I have a 1000 series PSP and I want to upgrade. Which is better, the 2000 or 3000? Is there any major drawback to only being able to run custom firmware on a 3000 and being able to install it on a 2000?

i'd go with 2000. something about running out of battery then repeating a random hack (at most 10 times) to get it to work irks me. assuming you can find a lower version 2K.

3K has microphone i think, that no games i play need so far. both can output to tv or something.

honestly, wait for a new cfw b4 you buy. unless you really need to play on the tv for some reason, there's always ps2/360/ps3 etc.

Keep always your psp 1000.

3000, the backlight makes a huge difference.
