Let's not get mad at Gen team for releasing a "half way prototype" stuff GenC.

They do this work for free, right? They didn't deserve to hear too harsh words.

Anyway, I'm thinking of buying a 3000. I saw a yellow one today

and it just opened up a camp house in my mind and it's controlling me to

open up the browser and look at its photos.

At this point, I didn't a bit of a research but couldn't be sure,

so I looking for someone to give me the correct answer.


If I buy a brand new box of PSP 3000 and it has its firmware installed

higher than 5.03, can I have it downgraded with my pandora battery?

I have my pandora gears that works smooth on my 1000.

Or, is it impossible to downgrade 3000 with newest mainboard?

I really am not sure about this thing, so help me.



and secondly, my girl friend is not interest in marriage AT ALL.

I want to be a luthier someday, and she's keep saying that

she doesn't want to live in a countryside.

So the problems are, that she doesn't like the dountryside

and that she is not interested in marriage.

Any good ideas that I could talk her out?

There is currently no way to use CFW on a 3000 with a firmware higher than 5.03.

We still can use ChickHen and CFW enabler, right?
and it only works on OFW 5.03 or lower. Am I getting it right?
What I'm wondering is if there's a 3000 that doesn't work with Pandora.

The only PSP3000s that don't work with Chickhen and CFW enabler are ones that come with firmware higher than 5.03. So just try to buy an old PSP3000. Pandora does not work on ANY PSP3000. Pandora only works on PSP1000 and PSP2000 (Pandora also doesn't work on the TA-88v3 PSP2000 (http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=131068)).

First, if the 3000 is above 5.03 then its stuck that that.
No pandora does NOT work with the 3000.
The only difference between the 2000 and the 3000 is the inbuilt mic.
Get a 2000 and you can pandora that unless its got the ta88 MB.
If you want a yellow one the simpsons one is yellow.

Second, just bang the b!tch and when you've finished with that one get another to marry. Unless your ugly then just keep banging the one you got and don't bother with the marriage bit. Eventually she might change her mind.
If she don't bang then get rid of her and find one that will.

The difference between the 2000's and 3000's are:


Internal Mic
Different screen technology (Visible scan lines, but that's a "feature" apparently)
Home button is now PSP button
The 3000 battery's serial is reported as 0x000000 which is autoboot (Yet doesn't function as such)
Battery serial communication protocols (If they even play a roll now) have been changed/obfuscated and/or encrypted


The TA-088 motherboards are a series comprising of:

TA-088v1
TA-088v2a
TA-088v2b
TA-088v3

v2a is compatible with DC3(No Graphics) to DC5, v2b is not (Is only compatible with DC6 and above, obviously DAX knows why, i... do not, little known sub-type) TA-088v3 is the only motherboard which cannot have custom firmware installed on its flash (Well, you probably could, but it'll brick, you can however flash whatever the hell you like to flash0 as long as you do not overwrite or otherwise change already established firmware files), it will respond to a pandora battery, however it will not boot to memory stick with any (current) custom IPL's as (currently) they all fail preipl authentication.
