Infinity Ward has revealed that they are in no hurry to get a new generation of consoles under their control because there is still much to come from the current crop of consoles. Apparently, IW thought they hit the 'glass celing' with CoD 4 but have once again improved with Modern Warfare 2.

Of coarse they don't need next gen yet... they can't even master this gen... all their console version can't even run @ 720p, a mere 600p... LOL!

I agree this gen should go a bit longer there really is not too much reason to move forward with more hardware.

I mean sure it would be nice to have more hardware but this gen is not really tapped out and could use some more must have games.

Nintendo on the other hand could release a new console any time now they honestly could use high definition and some better hardware.

Also can't wait for the new COD :)
