EA confirms that Battlefield 3 is in development

Good news Battlefield fans. A big boss at EA has revealed that the team at DICE in Sweden have been working on Battlefield 3 and he was impressed by it. Howevver the game is not near to coming out within the fiscal year.

Pleasants confirmed he's seen DICE's work on Battlefield 3.

"I've had the luxury of looking at Battlefield 3 over at DICE in Sweden and was highly impressed by the way the team is working on that product," he said. "Of course, that's not [coming out] in the fiscal year, but that is a product that is looking very good."</blockquote>

Good News!
I just hope that they make the PC version a priority,if they want to dumb down the console version then so be,just dont want them to dumb down the PC version because the consoles cannot hack it

Hopefully it's a return to the good old 1942 and it's 2 expansions, the sequals did nothing for me. PC all the way on this one for me tho :)

BF2 was the best part so far.
Hopefully it will be developed for PC and then transferred to consoles and not the other way around.
Otherwise it might be another one of these more arcade like BF titles...
