I recently got a Liteon 83850c to flash for a friend with a MFD of 08/09. Every single time I tried to dump the drive via JF I got the LO83info Failed message when I moved the drive to the fully open position. The funny thing was that in the JF log I could see the "in memory of......" string, so it looked like the key was being extracted correctly. I have flashed many of these before so I initially assumed that I had an unflashable one. I decided to give IPREP a chance and although it went the through the motions of reading the drive I got a failed message at the end. However upon checking the DUMMY.BIN file that was created ALL of the necessary information was present including a valid key and serial. To double check I spoofed the info to an old Samy and fired it in the Xbox and it worked fine. I've now flashed the Liteon.

Might be worth a try for any of you guys that are having issues with JF. :D

seriuosly doubt it,you got error message in jungleflasher probably because you was doing something wrong.

peoples tried allsorts and its got to do with the drive state (perhaps its fw related) but, regardless the unflashable 83850 is unflashable as of now.

you didnt get a fluke, you wasnt doing it right in first place or jungleflasher was not playing ball.you wont get in dedication of string (if i aint mistaken) for the unflashable one.as it wont let you go past first extraction,it will abort,so no string.
:)
