Their is an IPL for your MS which allows you to have a pandora but have it as a normal PSP, I believe the Time machine IPL can do this.

Basically everytime the system coldboots it will load this IPL from the MS so that you need an MS with it on to boot, its quite efficient as brick protection IMO.
