The legendary game creator behind Mario has revealed that if there was 1 game he wished people liked it a bit more, it would be the Star Fox franchise. He noted that the brand has continued to lose its appeal over the last few years, particularly in Japan.

<blockquote>"I tend to forget those games [laughs]. I'm a big fan of the 'Star Fox' games. Every time we make a 'Star Fox' game I'm hoping people will enjoy it as much as I do. Of course the goal every time is to try and make it more and more fun but, at least in Japan, the people that purchase the 'Star Fox' games has decreased over the years. But we still try to make them more fun and hopefully people will see the appeal in those games."</blockquote>

**** games are the reason why it isnt that popular.

I think an updated version of star fox would be a good wiiware game, I played the warioware version on the wii and it actually played quite well and I thought it could have been a good game on its own.

Starfox (Starwing) was one of my fav snes games and to an extent Lylat Wars.
Id love to see another game but not like the gamecube releases i don't want to be platforming or driving tanks i want to be flying through the whole thing.

Thats funny Star Fox fans just with Nintendo had a little more respect for the franchise and actually created another Star Fox game worth playing rather than the last couple feeble attempts.

Easy. Just make a true sequel to 'Star Fox 64' that surpasses it, and it will FLY off the shelves. A 100% flying game, that's fun. The second SF game on the Cube doesn't count.

Isn't that what all Publishers want?
