Making a 250GB HDD

Ok so I got a 250GB coming in the mail that should be here tomorrow, I copied partition 3 from my current HD to my PC after I get the new HD I just hook it to my PC flash it with the HDDSS.bin and create partition 0,2,and 3 with hddhakr then I just copy the files from my old partition 3 to the new hd.

Is there anything I missed and will all my saves and profiles be there?

Is aimed at 120GB upgrades etc, however the things you need for partitioning etc are covered in that guide, a little bit of googling would have found it for you.

got the HD flashed and the 360 saw it so now I am copying the content to the new HD thanks for the help

I got the content moved to the new HD but now my rock band 2 save will not load is there anyway to fix it without a MU?

also anyother game that have the same problem?

Can someone help as i can not flash new drive because it always comes up with HDDSS.BIN file not found. I know it is there but for some reason it cant find it.

Try using a progy called CONcept 0.1 or Hash Block Calculator to fix game save

you mean for the xbox 1 games? yea they are in partition 2 I just copied the files to my pc then onto the new drive. Also I just went out and got a MU it was $15 used at gamestop

dont forget to copy partition2 over.. it contains the original xbox stuff..

might be something m$ is lookign into for a ban as no m$ drive has an empty partition2

I got that copied over was a little confused at first because I couldn't play Fable 1 lol

what i want to know is, is there any way to get the avatar pics back without going onto live after flashing the files to the new hdd. everything else has transferred over DLC,saves and arcade games. but my avatar is just a shadow and when i try to edit it a message tells me i mut go onto live to download the content. i don't think an official memory stick will sort this problem out, might have to go and see if i can borrow the official transfer cable from somewhere/someone. if anyone knows a workaround i would love to hear it. was the avatar pics on a disc update with a certain game or are all people who are off-line have no avatar pics?......................sudeki300
