Just found out you can use a standard SATA to USB adapter with the Data Migration Kit you do not need an extra shell or the MS cable

i can confirm this as well

pretty much any standard usb to sata adapter works (the ones found in external hard drives)

just make sure if your transfering to a 250gb hdd that your using a good migration disk as there are some out there that do not work

I bought the 120GB HDD so I have a retail disc for it but gave my old 20GB HDD to a friend so just didn't have an extra shell
