Modern Warfare 2 doesn't disappoint, meta score of 96

Modern Warfare 2 certainly hasn't disappointed as it has a meta-critic score of 96. A number of reviews have awarded the title 100 percent while some have gone for the mid-low 90 range claiming that the title does little to redefine things rather builds on what was previously done.

I don't even pay attention to these scores anymore. They are too lenient with their scores. In actuality, it should be a very rare occasion for a game to get a 100, but these days just about every hyped up game gets one.

Well thats put me off it then, wasn't impressed by CoD4 and I am not intrested in multiplayer so would likely be a waste for me to get, give me good old world war 2 reguardless of the side you play any day over modern stuff. I'll just stick with the very good Uncharted 2 (has everything the original promised but lacked) and Dragon age :).

But sadly i bought the hardened addition for £69.99, an absolute ripoff, as usual over here in ripoff Britain, didn't anyone tell Infinity Ward that there is a recession on you know, here in the UK, i had to trade in £130 worth of older games to get this extremely overrated title, to my horror, Call of Duty Classic which was a download coupon included in the box, i tried that & yes it was perfect graphic's wise, but gameplay was so slow, PC version 100 times better, the main event so to speak, was basically some new maps & some add on perks, with messages that show when you shoot someone, who just shot you. that was about the best thing i could see that was good, and the rest was basically COD4 MW + 1/2, there are now a lot more different ways in which to piss people off in the game, far more Spawn killing in fact there's a extra kind of perk that gives you 10 seconds of extra health to combat this spawn killing, all they do is shoot you once more, big deal that helps, NOTTTTTTTTTTTT
I have had this game since 1.15am 10th Nov' 09, and already i am too pissed off to play it again (I got to Level 17).
Call of Duty World at War, all is forgiven, give me those dogs any day.
Way more fun to play.

I thought COD4 MW was a Class game, but this new one is basically the same game with bolted on extra's, so in my eye's worth maybe £24.99 as DLC and not a whole new game, the weapons are way to powerful, to be fun.
COD World at War, blows both of these games out of the water, due to the great less powerful weapons / flamethrowers / betties / zombies / dogs / great maps / but most of all, its FUN to play, after all, that is what matters.;)

In fact, i predict that half of the players of Modern Warfare 2 will come back & play COD World at War!!!! :p

cant even play online on ps3 yet,connecting to server and thats it,after sitting there franticly trying for 20mins i turned off.i just got my copy today (thank god they dropped the price to £32 uk)

so any game that can go online at this moment in time is like 100 times better than mw2 cos you cant get on psn with it.

battlefield 1943 had **** launch online and now mw2 looks like it will take first place off it.

anyway,single player is totaly crap.they had no choice but to throw the litt;e perky bits in or you might fall asleep,i cant sit and play this game 2 levels on trot.
