whenever i try to connect to xbox live it comes up with ip failed. i have tried rebooting everything, mac assigning and dhcp reservations and nothings working. PLEASE HELP!!

and manual ip setting?
is your console banned?

im going to try assigning a manual ip
no my console isnt banned its a different message :P

i tried setting a manual ip but i dont know what to do because i have a dynamic gateway. i tried anyway and heres what i put in:
ip:192.168.0.105 (in DHCP range)
snm: 255.255.255.0 (not sure :S)
gateway:192.168.0.1 (router address)
it showed the same error. please help im dying with out xbl

the ip config looks correct. Did you also enter the DNS servers (either the addresse of your router 192.168.0.1 or your ISP ones)
Also, did you check the ethernet cables
