Infinity Ward: Lots of DLC coming for Modern Warfare 2

Infinity Ward has told MTV that it has plans to release lots and lots of lovely DLC for Modern Warfare 2. However, the team currently has no idea on what it's next big project will be.

i expect it to be priced the same on all 3 platforms.. pc gamers getting charged for what console gamers should have been given for free.

3 maps 2 weapons $10.00. one pack every 3 months. Sharks can smell blood in the water... and the water is flowing red.

Pretty much all old school PC gamers knew this was comming. It's also the reason we will not buy this travesty. Paying more for less? A lot less? Like a few years less gaming? No proper online gaming? Well no IW. I will not buy your game or your stupid DLC.

Well considering that they only released one map pack DLC for the first one, i'd say this is still news...

i for one am happy to hear this.

the game is fucking awesome and i cant wait to play new maps/etc..

people who ***** about how it has less etc (pc gamers) are missing out

quit being a bunch of whiny bitches.. this isnt the last game thats going to do this. expect just about every multi platform title to do this now that mw2 has succeeded so much.

this is why there are online gaming charges. xbox live for xbox was very successful and it broke the ice for pay to play ****. WoW also another example. then DLC for rockband really kicked things off and now DLC for money is pretty much standard.

say by to the way you used to have things for PC, its a thing of the past aside from likely a few PC only games.

I'd rather have the ability to have user made maps then pay for new ones. Hell even EA gave out free maps with BF1942 updates. Valve even had free maps this year on the 360, but to bad MS wouldn't let them do it again for Crash Course update.
I'll just wait for the bundled edition and get it all for one very low price like I did for Fallout 3.

DLC better be free, as we all have made infinity Ward masses of money, so the least they can do is to make us some free maps + some new weapons to unlock, as a thank you to us. ;)
