Hey, I have a phat running 5.00m33-6 and it will not turn on with the battery plugged in anymore.

The CFW was installed pre-pandora, and I do not own one.

The problem started recently, within the last week or two.
I turn on the PSP w/ battery power, and the green power light is on, but the screen remains black with the backlight. No recovery mode accessible, or anything.

If I plug the AC adapter in and remove the battery, it boots up to the XMB. I can then place the battery back in and remove AC power, and it keeps running.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what's happening. I have not attempted to create a pandora, or mod my battery in any way.

Help please?

Thanks

EDIT: Oops, I seem to have inadvertently posted this in the wrong forum. Would a mod mind moving it to Help please?

You can check your battery's serial number with Open Source Pandora Battery Tool (http://www.maxconsole.net/forums/showthread.php?t=80215). If your battery's serial number is 0xFFFFFFFF then it's a Pandora Battery.

Even if you don't think your battery is a Pandora Battery maybe you should try setting up Despertar del Cementerio v8 on your memory stick anyways and see what happens.

If none of that works, then you could buy a new battery. They don't last forever and you would have to eventually replace it anyway.
