so use activate iso disc if it works with 1.61,if it dosnt downgrade to 1.6 so it will.

Can someone shine some light on this please. I have a banned 360 with 1.51 firmware. So could I just patch this like I did with assassins creed 2 and it will work?

Patching should work for all games. Or activate disk on firmware 1.6.

doesn't really matter to me. with all the bannings happening, i will never sign on to live again just because i do not want to lose the option to install games to the hard drive, so multiplayer really isn't that important to me. that's what i have my ps3 for.:D

This is actually still WAVE 4, but L4D2 has the new dashboard update included on the disc (17th November - Facebook/Twitter update) because game goes retail on 20/11/2009
so ABGX does not recognise it and suggests it may be a new wave.

Okay your retarded, it is wave 4 same as every other game coming out right now. 1.61 is all you need to run it, next time just check the damn thing first. Before you even start I am playing it right now, and also doing system link with it so it works just fine...unless you got the shitty p2p copy.

just confirming some test results and this wave 5 update must be the wpa2 update as i played tekken 6 on 1 of my old 360s and it updated to dash 2.0.8498.0 and i just tested this out and it updated it to 2.0.8955.0 which is the same as my uk 360 which hasnt been online since 10th nov so i dont think its the facebook update but can somebody please confirm this aswell

also tested on benq + lite-on 1.6 = works with activate.iso
tested 2x hitachi with ix 1.5 = and works fine
tested a hitachi extreme 5.2 = worked fine

sory no ix1.6.1 but it should work with activate.iso

just a theory if the latest update can detect the firmware this is ms way at getting the offline boxs so there flagged offline BUT just a theory got no proof

hey are you still not banned ? my live still work's too i think im waiting for the LT to be released and look again. I heard the updates have a list with console id's so we can banned offline too. So maybe it deactivates the hdd too. That would be shity!

:) my samsunge drive with 1.61 not yet ban but I never update after ban hammer released and I read on people banned so i take off my cable network off and update drive from 1.60 to 1.61, however Tekken6 still need activate iso. But some people said my Tekken6 can be patch to wave3 already that why i need dvd activate iso. May non patch back up game is run fine.

anyone confirm Tekken6 won't need DVD Activate iso please?:(:(:(
