At my wits end with .002 error

Hi all

I have had the misfortune to have spent the last 3 days trying to get this fixed from reading on the internet and seem to be little further forward.

I have found various instructions on how to install c10s38Rev14 and neogamma r7 but am still completely lost.

If I could find "cIOS38rev14.wad" I reckon I could follow one guys instructions as I have everything else required, but this either doesn't exist or has been secreted into the dungeons of google as I cant find it anywhere!!!!

I also dld a cIOS38rev14 installer with instructions, but the instructions don't lead to HBC recognising the installer.dol (possibly Im doing something wrong here!)

Any help is much appreciated as my kids are dying to play some games that just won't work!

if its NSMB I believe main.dol needs to be patched and the system menu IOS trucha vulnerable.

Cheers for the quick reply - it's not that game, it's quite a few actually.

I have never updated anything since I softmodded probably a year ago and have little idea how to update.

I have seen posts where people say simply turn on the .002 error fix but I don't see that anywhere on my menus.

My main problem is that I know enough to follow someones instructions and dl stuff, but when it comes to understanding .dol and .wad and installers and channels my head almost turns itself inside out:D

Go here and download GXloader -

http://sites.google.com/site/usbloadergui/downloads/revisions

I personally use the DOL version using a Forwarder (WAD installation) Channel, as you can update the loader from the Wii otherwise if you got the WAD install, you would have to download the new WAD versions eveytime from the site.

This will fix your 002 error, as this loader has the option in the settings. It fixed all my issues. Try that:)
