need some help here new to the xbox 360.

Ok i have my 360 hooked to my older dell 24" 2407 via the composite ports red green blue it was working fine till i tried to run tekken 6

(not connected to the net dont have HDD or mem card yet) it says it needed to update when i slected yes it said needed min 128mb storage.
So i canceled now i have the newer version of dash board with the slide show type thingy.

But also i can not use the HD settings now it works ok via the yellow video in but not the composite .

Iv tried the yellow & right trigger button during boot but no matter what i select 720p / 1080i or 1080p i get no signal i have to switch back to standard tv. (which sucks)

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this has happened ? & most importantly does anyone know how to fix so i get HD display back .

scratch that its sorted now ... anyone else get that problem pull the plug on the monitor ;) that fixed it for me

I have mine hooked up to a router and didn't have to forward any ports at all! Just connected the 360 to one of the extra ports on the back and it let me log in and everything else no problems! Maybe it's a firewall problem!
