Hey guys, I had a Dragon Age DL I had burnt the other day and my GF and I cant stand the skipping of the audio as well as choppy video playback. I borrowed my buddies original copy in attempt to rip it myself with XBC 2.9. That copy does the same thing, although, to a lesser degree.. Which is good!

I also have had Prototype skip such as this about 4 months ago when I played that. Can anyone point out something im doing in the burning process, or even the ripping process? Perhaps the DL I had was a result of a bad rip also? Perhaps read speed when ripping instead of 12X as well as 2.4 burn speed?

Downgraded to 1.41 nonstealth and using 12X speed Ixtreme to play wave 4 + games for a while till LT is final. The original Dragon Age plays flawlessly BTW. Just kinda tired of reading for 4+ hours through waves of search pages etc, figured SOMEONE has to have a solution of some sort. Thanks in advance!

What media do you use? To me it sounds like a media/laser reading issue

PS - as an aside is Dragon Age worth purchasing? I'm torn as to whether to pick it up or not..... Not a massive RPG fan but did enjoy Mass Effect

either ur burner or 360 laser/drive, or crappy media.

u using verbs ? it's all i ever use an no probs.

try installing the game, should help, use better media if that's the case.

if not check ur burner and make sure ur 360 drive laser isn't weak either.

Simply: Dragon Age is great! I have been a picky player as of late with very little patience. There is very little learning curve, pretty straight-forward stuff, but this game hits the spot for sure.

I use nothing but Verbatim media 2.4x DL.

Ive only had one instance of a dirty lens cant read problem with Resident Evil 5.. Cleaned it at that time and nothing has had a problem since. Im thinking its NOT a laser or media, im almost sure of it, because others have expressed Dragon Age skipping for them also.

^maybe so, but i had no problems playing the game, also from the hd.

maybe it's u burner ?

try dumping another different retail disc of DA and then burn it with another burner.

might help.
